§01The problem
Vendors grade their own homework. We bring the evidence.
78%
of enterprise tech buyers say AI companies make claims that are difficult to verify or compare. 46% say this delays purchases.

40%+
of agentic AI projects will be canceled by the end of 2027, Gartner predicts, due to escalating costs, unclear business value, or inadequate risk controls.

And the comparisons buyers find today are mostly written by the vendors being compared.
§02How it works
One standard, applied to every vendor.
Three steps. Every vendor on your shortlist faces the same test, built from your business.
01
Share your shortlist and use cases
Tell us which vendors you’re considering and send the material that defines good support for you: policies, product details, and the customer questions your team finds hardest.
02
We test every vendor on the same scenarios
We turn your material into realistic scenarios and run every vendor through them under identical conditions: same inputs, same knowledge, same grading.
03
Get a side-by-side report
You see where each vendor succeeds and fails, with clear trade-offs in quality, cost, and risk, and a recommendation you can defend internally.
§03What you get
A decision document, not a leaderboard.
The evaluation report answers one question: which vendor should you sign with, and what are you accepting when you do?
- Scores on your scenarios
- Resolution, policy adherence, escalation, and invented information, measured on your use cases, not a generic benchmark.
- Where each vendor fails, and why
- Failures grouped by pattern, with the transcripts behind them, so you can judge which ones matter for your customers.
- Dated, scoped results
- Every number states the vendor version, configuration, test date, and the scenarios it covers.
- A clear recommendation, with stated confidence
- Our pick for your situation, how sure we are, and what would change our mind.
Evaluation · AI customer support agents
Shortlist: Vendor A, B, C · Versions pinned at test time
Finding 3.2 · Refunds
Vendor B approved refunds outside the 30-day window, contradicting your policy §4.2, in several of the refund scenarios. It did so confidently and did not escalate.
Recommendation
Vendor A. Strongest on policy adherence and escalation. Weaker on multi-step order changes; see §3.4 before rollout.
Confidence: moderate · What would change it: see §5
§04Why independent
We work for the buyer. Only the buyer.
An evaluation is only useful if nobody being evaluated can shape it. These rules make that structural, not a promise.
01
Buyers pay. Vendors never pay to influence results.
Our only customer is the company making the decision. We do not sell placements, sponsored rankings, or “certified” badges to vendors.
02
Flat fees. No referral payments.
Our fee is fixed before testing starts and does not change with the outcome. We take no commission or referral fee from whichever vendor you choose.
03
Every result is dated and scoped.
Results state the vendor version, configuration, test date, and the scenarios they cover. AI products change quickly; a result without a date is a claim.
04
We report the winner’s weaknesses too.
A recommendation is not an endorsement. The vendor we recommend gets the same failure analysis as every other vendor on your shortlist.
§05Who it’s for
For teams choosing an AI support agent without an in-house AI team.
We start with AI customer support agents, where claims are loudest and mistakes reach customers directly. We’ll expand function by function: accounting, sales, legal.
A good fit if
- You’re a mid-market company actively choosing an AI customer support vendor.
- You have a shortlist, or you’re narrowing one down.
- You don’t have an in-house AI team to design and run a rigorous evaluation.
- The decision has to hold up with leadership, legal, and your support team.
Test before you sign.
Bring your shortlist and your hardest customer questions. In 20 minutes we’ll agree on what to test, which vendors to include, and what you’ll get back.
